I have always delighted in helping others participate in activities of their choosing, regardless of the challenges they faced. Earning a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse allowed me to continue this work. Throughout my 25+ years as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, I have felt immense joy while working with people of all ages and abilities.
I further resolved to positively impact the lives of others through massage therapy. As a CTRS, I daily witnessed the life-affirming effect of human touch on the body, mind and soul of disadvantaged individuals. Through my work as a massage therapist, I strive to help my clients live the life they want; whether it's relief from chronic/acute pain, a greater sense of inner calm, or a mixture of both.
My massage therapy coursework and clinical hours were completed at the New School for Massage Bodywork and Healing in Chicago, IL and I am thrilled to be practicing in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and at the Tomcek Chiropractic Office in Schofield. I am pursuing a certification in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, with current specializations in Upper Extremity (Shoulder, Arm and Hand), Lower Extremity (Hip, Leg, and Foot), Cervical and Thoracic Spine.
